  2. 160 grams Butter or margarine (unsalted)
  3. 160 grams Sugar
  4. 4 Eggs
  5. 160 grams Cake flour

  7. 2 tbsp Kirschwasser (or cherry liquor)

  8. Place the cherries on top and bake at 180°C for 35 minutes. As ovens vary, please adjust the temperature and time accordingly.
  9. Test if it is done with a toothpick or skewer.
  10. Once cooled, cut and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
