- Preheat the oven to 180ºC (360ºF). Lightly grease a 25-cm (10-in) round cake pan and line the base with baking paper.
- Combine all dry ingredients; flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl, mixing well until well combined. Mix eggs, oil, and water with coffee, stirring thoroughly in another bowl. Pour dry ingredients into the liquid mixture; mix well until well incorporated and smooth.
